  • Assistant Head of School

    Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory, located in Hollywood FL, is seeking its next Assistant Head of School for the 2026-2027 academic year.


    This vibrant, Catholic, coeducational grades 9-12 school boasts a 100% graduation rate and overall programming which necessitates a creative, organized, mission-driven and dedicated individual to oversee daily operations. In conjunction with the Head of School, this leadership position is critical to maintaining the highest standard of achievement which has been characteristic over its 60+ years. Recognized as a “School of Distinction” by Cognia (accrediting agency) CMCP is home to national merit finalists, semi-finalists, and commended scholars each year. Our vibrant athletic and extra-curricular program provides multiple opportunities for students to become involved in group(s) of their choice. Owned and sponsored by the Marianist Province of the U.S. the school enjoys a close relationship with the Provincial Council and the Board of Trustees.


    The candidate will have an advanced degree in education or administration (MS Educational Administration, MS Educational Leadership) and a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.

  • Academic Facilitator of Technology (AFT) / Computer Science Faculty

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a tech-savvy educator for the role of Academic Facilitator of Technology (AFT) / Computer Science Faculty. This full-time, on-campus position combines classroom teaching in Computer Science, Business Technology, or Mathematics with leadership responsibilities in instructional technology. The AFT plays a central role in helping students and faculty effectively use digital tools, particularly the Canvas LMS, and serves as the academic point person for technology integration across the curriculum.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Teaching & Curriculum

    • Teach a minimum of four courses within the Business/Computer Technology and/or Mathematics departments.
    • Contribute to curriculum development and program expansion within assigned subjects.
    • Model best practices for instructional technology through daily classroom instruction.

    Faculty Training & Academic Technology Leadership

    • Provide training and ongoing support for faculty—especially new hires—in using Canvas and other instructional platforms.
    • Design and lead professional development workshops, onboarding sessions, and department-level training.
    • Stay current on instructional technology trends and tools and guide the strategic adoption of new resources.

    Student Support

    • Offer direct student tech support during Middle Block and on Blue Days.
    • Help students troubleshoot access, navigate platforms, and manage their digital resources.
    • Oversee the setup, maintenance, and collection of student iPads.
    • Support onboarding for new and transfer students.

    Systems & Digital Platforms

    • Support integration and troubleshooting of Canvas, student information and rostering systems, and educational software.
    • Collaborate with the Technology Department on account setup and cyber safety.
    • Maintain inventories and manage licenses for digital instructional materials.

    Collaboration & Strategy

    • Work closely with the Director of Curriculum, department chairs, and IT to align technology with instructional needs.
    • Support cross-department initiatives that involve digital tools and learning platforms.
    • Collaborate with the registrar to oversee report card generation and LMS-based grading workflows.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Minimum two years of high school teaching experience or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated ability to teach Computer Science, Math, or Business/Technology courses at the secondary level.
    • Advanced knowledge of Canvas LMS and educational technologies.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including training and support.
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently.

  • Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and organized Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to manage and enhance our digital communication strategies. This individual will be instrumental in shaping our online presence to engage students, families, alumni, and the broader community. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic storyteller who thrives in collaborative environments and has a keen eye for design and detail.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all school social media accounts and maintain a content calendar.
    • Publish high-quality, engaging content highlighting school events and achievements.
    • Capture and edit photos and videos for digital use.
    • Design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials aligned with school branding.
    • Support marketing campaigns for enrollment, open houses, tours, and school-wide events.
    • Write and edit content for newsletters, the website, and community outreach.
    • Maintain positive engagement on social media platforms.
    • Ensure consistent branding across all digital channels.
    • Support planning and execution of community and school events.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field (preferred).
    • 1–3 years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications.
    • Experience in an educational setting is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
    • Strong photography, videography, and graphic design skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to attend events that occasionally occur during evenings or weekends.

    • This is a fully on-campus role, with occasional work during evenings or weekends.
  • Theology Teacher

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking (2) passionate and dedicated Theology Teachers to join our teaching faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position requires thoughtful unit planning utilizing the Understanding by Design model, effectively engaging students within a 75-minute class period on an every-other-day rotation schedule. The ideal candidate will teach six periods of coursework, maintain an active presence on CANVAS learning management system, and communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress. This role also provides opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities that align with the school’s mission and values. This is a Full-time role for the school year (August through early June)


    Key Responsibilities:

       •  Develop and implement engaging lesson plans using Understanding by Design principles.

       •   Teach six periods of Theology coursework within the high school curriculum.

       •   Foster a classroom environment that supports Catholic values and academic success.

       •   Maintain an active presence on CANVAS, posting assignments, resources, and updates.

       •   Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

       •   Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and department initiatives.

       •   Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.

       •   Engage in extracurricular activities that support student learning and faith development.


    Qualifications & Requirements:

       •   Practicing Catholic in good standing, committed to supporting the school’s mission.

       •   Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

       •   At least two years of teaching experience at the high school level or in a related setting.

       •   Ability to teach various Theology courses within the department based on school needs.

       •   Strong ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration.

  • 9th Grade and College School Counselor 

    Position Overview:

    Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory seeks a student-focused 9th Grade and College School Counselor to join our Student Services team. This full-time position combines academic, personal, and post-secondary guidance for 9th grade students with broader support for college counseling programming. The ideal candidate is a compassionate communicator, organized multitasker, and advocate for student success in both academic and personal development.


    Key Responsibilities:

    9th Grade Counseling Duties

    • Serve as the primary counselor for 9th grade students, supporting academic progress, social-emotional well-being, and high school adjustment.
    • Conduct at least two individual counseling meetings per year with assigned students.
    • Provide academic counseling and monitoring for students, including those on academic probation.
    • Offer limited personal/social counseling and make appropriate referrals for additional support.
    • Assist with 9th grade orientation and parent information sessions.

    College Counseling Support

    • Collaborate with the college counseling team to plan and execute workshops, presentations, and events for grades 9–12.
    • Assist with college fairs, essay workshops, mock interviews, and scholarship programming.
    • Maintain and update counseling data systems such as SCOIR, Common App, Bright Futures, and NCAA eligibility portals.
    • Support students in creating resumes, reviewing college application materials, and understanding post-secondary planning processes.
    • Conduct college planning meetings and write letters of recommendation as needed.
    • Contribute to newsletters and other communication materials for students and families.
    • Support standardized testing logistics, including the PSAT and AP exams.

    Departmental & Professional Responsibilities

    • Maintain counseling records and document student/family/teacher interactions.
    • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student well-being and academic success.
    • Attend relevant professional development for school and college counseling.
    • Participate in assigned school activities and committees.
    • Occasionally work extended hours for evening events or programs.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in Guidance, Counseling, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of school counseling experience preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common counseling platforms.
    • Flexibility, self-motivation, and a student-centered mindset.
    • Commitment to supporting the mission of a Catholic, Marianist educational institution.
