Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory Learning Center Program The Learning Center at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory was established in the Fall of 1999. Its purpose is to provide resource support to students so they may be able to succeed in their pursuit of a college preparatory curriculum at CMCP and to address the needs of students who have academic learning exceptionalities. Through their participation in the Learning Center program, students will develop the skills necessary to become independent learners by acquiring organizational skills, test taking techniques, study strategies, and self-advocacy. It should be noted that Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory does not modify curriculum for students who are enrolled in the Learning Center. Students in this program are expected to go on to college but may require some type of additional support or accommodations to perform at their full potential. Students attend the Learning Center by grade level during regular school hours for one period of resource support. 

In addition to the general admission requirements, parents will be required to provide Psychoeducational Testing documentation. Additionally, a family interview (parents and applicant) with the Director of the Learning Center. Formal documentation must include recent aptitude and achievement testing results. Results may not be more than three years old. An IEP or 504 will NOT qualify a student to attend the Learning Center. All documentation needs to be submitted to CMCP upon registration or within six months of registration. Please note that additional fees will be applied to tuition if a student is accepted into the Learning Center program. Since an IEP, 504, or Psycho-educational has been submitted on your child’s behalf, we wanted to inform parents of the program we offer our students as it may be beneficial as a future student at CMCP. 

The cost of the program is $3,500.00 annually.
