Application Process

Thank you for considering Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory as your high school of choice!

Guidelines for Applicants:

• The current student’s sending school must be accredited by a legitimate accreditation agency. 
• Enrollment is restricted to students with a good behavior record who have academic ability that is average or above average. Additionally, credits earned must reflect grade level or above their respective grade level.
• Please note, CMCP does not accept Medical/Religious Exemptions for immunization certificates.
• If an applicant has a diagnosed learning disability, please provide a psychoeducational less than three years old during the application process. Admission can be granted with Learning Center mandatory or recommended depending on the needs of the child. The ESE Specialist will join the Admissions Committee in this case.
• No application will be reviewed if a step in the process has not been completed.
• While we are rolling admissions, priority is given to those who take the HSPT on the first Saturday of December at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory (CMCP).
  

In order to be considered for admission to Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory, candidates must complete the following steps:

1. Complete the application which includes the registration for the HSPT.
   The following must be provided in order to complete the application process. If your child attends a Catholic middle school, the following process occurs directly with the school:
2. 7th and 8th Grade Report Cards.
3. Standardized Test Scores from 7th and 8th grade are mandatory.
4. If applicable, a Psychoeducational evaluation administered within the past 3 years, Individualized Education Programs or 504 Plans. Send a copy of the full report electronically to Lbillisi@cmlions.org
5. Completed Principal’s Recommendation Form provided by CMCP once the exam has been taken and emailed to lbillisi@cmlions.org. 
6. If you have completed the HSPT exam, please submit scores. 
7. HSPT will be given monthly at CMCP. Once application is completed an email will inform applicants of the exam date.

The Barron's Strategies and Practice for the HSPT book can be used to prepare for the exam.

All above-referenced documents must be emailed to lbillisi@cmlions.org once an application has been completed.
