Application Process

Thank you for considering Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory as your high school of choice!

Guidelines for Applicants:

The applicant’s current school must be accredited by a recognized accreditation agency.
Enrollment is limited to students who:
Demonstrate good behavior and conduct
Show academic ability at or above average level
Have earned credits that reflect grade-level or higher performance
Vaccinations: The Catholic Church holds that the vaccination of children/others serves the common good. For this reason religious exemptions from vaccinations are not granted.
However, we do accommodate those children whose physician indicates that a specific vaccination(s) is medically contraindicated. This position is rooted in our Catechism: “Life and physical health are precious gifts entrusted to us by God. We must take reasonable care of them, taking into account the needs of others and the common good.” Requiring vaccinations does protect those children – including those with medical exemptions - as well as the health and safety of teachers, staff, and parents (including those with unborn children) who interact with our schoolchildren.
If you seek a medical exemption from vaccination(s), please provide a physician's statement indicating the necessity for an exemption. This written statement should be provided to the office of enrollment management and the wellness center.
Applicants with a diagnosed learning disability must provide a psychoeducational evaluation dated within the past three years as part of the application process.
Admission may be granted with mandatory or recommended participation in the Learning Center, depending on the student’s needs.
In these cases, the ESE Specialist will participate in the Admissions Committee’s review.
Applications will not be reviewed if any required step in the process is incomplete.
While CMCP offers rolling admissions, priority consideration is given to applicants who take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) on the first Saturday of December at CMCP

Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory Admissions Requirements

In order to be considered for admission to Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory, candidates must complete the following steps:

3. Your email address will serve as your login to access your account.

4. Complete the application, which includes registering for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and a fee of $60.00. You can complete the application and check whether the student will take the test at CMCP or their first choice school. Please note, priority is given to those who take the test at CMCP.

Required Documents
To complete the application process, please upload the following:

7th Grade Report Card
8th Grade Report Card (1st Quarter Grades minimum)
Standardized Test Scores (FAST, EOC, BEST, Terra Nova, MAP, or PSAT)
Principal’s Recommendation Form
You will need your current school name and the email address of an administrator or guidance counselor to complete this form.
HSPT Scores (if taken at another school. If taken at CMCP, we will upload it)
If applicable: Psychoeducational Evaluation (administered within the past 3 years), Individualized Education Program (IEP), or 504 Plan. This also provides extended time for the HSPT.
