2022-2023 Covid Protocol

According to the infectious disease health care professionals, the current variants of the COVID virus are highly transmissible with reduced illness when contracted.

Balancing the need for continuous education and good health on campus, we will follow this protocol for COVID for the 22-23 school year. Please understand that it may change as the situation continues to be fluid.

If your student tests COVID positive:

  1. Report your test results to the Wellness Center

  2. Quarantine at home for five (5) days

  3. If you are asymptomatic, you may return to campus WITH A MASK to be worn for an additional five (5) days

** if you are symptomatic, remain at home until you are asymptomatic for a full 24 hours

  1. No COVID test is necessary to return to campus

If you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive:

  1. You will be notified of the contact by the Director of the Wellness Center.

  2. Your student may continue to attend classes (no quarantine) wearing a mask for five (5) days. If no symptoms appear, the mask is no longer necessary after the five (5) day period.

  3. If your student exhibits symptoms, they should be immediately tested. If they test positive, see the directives above.
