The 2017-2018 athletic year was another banner year for the Chaminade-Madonna Lions.

The Lions made their presence felt over the 2017-2018 year:

  • 2017 Sun-Sentinel Football Coach of the Year
  • 13 Miami Herald First-Team All-County Selections
  • 12 Sun Sentinel First-Team All-County Selections
  • 5 State Playoff Appearances
  • 2 State Runner-Up finishes
  • 8 Regional Playoff appearances
  • 23 National Signing Day signees

The Class of 2018 netted over 7 million dollars in athletic scholarship offers and was represented by 23 student-athletes who will continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

For 57 years and counting, Chaminade-Madonna’s athletic tradition has been synonymous with high school success in the South Florida community. The Chaminade-Madonna Lions have earned countless District, Regional and State Titles throughout our storied history. Our alumni have represented the Lions on some of sports biggest stages including the NFL Super Bowl and the 2016 NCAA Football BCS National Championships.

Chaminade-Madonna’s comprehensive athletic program offers 23 varsity teams and numerous sub-varsity teams as part of a three-season schedule - fall, winter and spring. Our coaches inspire, motivate, teach and reinforce the attitudes and work ethic that are important to team and individual success.

Chaminade-Madonna is excited to announce Dan Scott as the new Lions' Head Baseball Coach.
Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory adds another groundbreaking accomplishment to its rich history with the installation of stadium lights which will equip Vince Zappone Field with permanent and augmented outdoor lighting.
Twenty-one Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory student athletes signed letters of intent February 7 to play sports at the next level. Surrounded by family, friends, and coaches, the athletes signed their letters on National Signing Day, officially accepting athletic scholarships offered to them by various top-rated colleges and universities.
9 Chaminade-Madonna student athletes were honored with the Sun Sentinel First Team All-County recognition.
With 4 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, the Chaminade-Madonna Lions set up a 19-yard field goal from Daniel Longman to defeat Oxbridge Academy 31-28 in the FHSAA Class 3A Football State Championship on Saturday, December 9th at Orlando's Camping World Stadium.

This is accomplished through our pursuit of excellence in athletics, academics, community and spirituality. Lions Athletics is committed to educating the mind, heart, body and soul of each student-athlete. This uniquely positions us to enhance the educational experience of the entire school community.

Under the direction of Ms. Angela Canosa, C-M Art students drew portraits of Syrian refugees. The artwork was delivered to the kids in Syria. Watch the video, to see how the artwork brought to Syria, made a difference in their lives.
