Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory Welcomes Baseball Coach Dan Scott

Hollywood, FL – Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory today announced that they will be welcoming back Coach Dan Scott to its Baseball program after 8 years.

In that time, Coach Scott has broadened both his coaching experience and network at the Division I, II, and NAIA levels. Coach Scott's successful coaching career includes a strong background at the collegiate level that is sure to contribute to an already robust baseball program. He has coached at Eastern Kentucky University, Belmont Abbey College, and Campsbellsville University. Prior to his successful stints at the collegiate level, Coach Scott was the Varsity Pitching Coach and JV Head Coach at Chaminade-Madonna.

""I am very excited to be back at Chaminade-Madonna," Coach Scott proclaimed, "I look forward to working alongside C-M's leadership team to continue to make a difference in the lives of our student athletes. The Chaminade-Madonna program is rich in tradition and I will strive to continue the successes familiar to C-M Baseball."

In addition to his extensive coaching experience, Coach Scott brings a long list of accomplishments which include winning the 2011 Valley Baseball League Championship, participating in the 2008 Men's College World Series, receiving the 2004 Broward County Pinnacle Award, and playing in the 2003 FHSAA 4A State Baseball championship.

He is also a member of numerous prestigious organizations including the American Baseball Coaches Association, the Florida State University Alumni Association, and the Knights of Columbus Chapter in North Miami.
Congratulations to our CMCP Lions football team for being crowned the 3A State Champions after defeating King's Academy with a final score of 38-10. The championship game, which took place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, marks consecutive visits to the 3A State Championships for the Chaminade-Madonna Lions and their fourth state title. "To me it's more than just a back-to-back State Championship," noted Head Coach Dameon Jones. "It's about teaching these young men how to overcome adversity. My goal has always been to mold these young men into successful student athletes and it couldn't be done without the support and help from the entire Chaminade Madonna community."
