Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory to Host 52nd Annual Golf Classic

Hollywood, FL – Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory will host its 52nd annual Golf Classic on Friday, April 27th at Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation, FL.

The tournament will begin at 11 AM in the Jacaranda clubhouse with giveaways for all participating golfers. Food and beverages for the Annual Golf Classic will be provided by participating sponsors and Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory alumni-owned businesses.

Golfers' short game skills will be put to the test at a fun putting challenge against Head of School Dr. Judith Mucheck. The Golf Classic will also feature a pneumatic golf ball launching contest where players can enter for their chance to win a prize. Additionally, players can shoot for their chance to win a 2018 Cadillac XT5 at the Hole-in-One Contest sponsored by Ed Morse Automotive Group. There will also be a dinner, Awards Ceremony and Silent Auction immediately following tournament play. Auction items will include resort stays, fine dining certificates, attraction passes, and many more items.

The cost to play is $200 for a single golfer or $800 for a foursome. This cost includes one goodie bag with a tournament shirt, boxed lunch, entry to the Awards Dinner and Silent Auction, and on-course refreshments. Attendees that do not wish to play golf can attend the Awards Dinner and Silent Auction for $65.

The proceeds from the 2018 Golf Classic will provide financial support for Chaminade-Madonna's educational, art, and athletic programs and will directly benefit students of Chaminade-Madonna.

Congratulations to our CMCP Lions football team for being crowned the 3A State Champions after defeating King's Academy with a final score of 38-10. The championship game, which took place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, marks consecutive visits to the 3A State Championships for the Chaminade-Madonna Lions and their fourth state title. "To me it's more than just a back-to-back State Championship," noted Head Coach Dameon Jones. "It's about teaching these young men how to overcome adversity. My goal has always been to mold these young men into successful student athletes and it couldn't be done without the support and help from the entire Chaminade Madonna community."
