Angelina Herrero is the current Valedictorian of her class at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory. She is an AP Scholar who is a member of the English, Spanish, Science, Social Studies, Math, and National Honor societies. She is also a Commended National Merit Scholar and received Hispanic National Merit Recognition. In regard to extracurricular activities, she is captain of both the Girls Varsity Basketball team and the Girls Varsity Cross Country team. She has also lead numerous school retreats and actively participates in planning and running campus ministry activities. She is the President of the Interact Club and a member of Environmental Club, Diversity Club, Robotics and Aeronautics Club, Creative Writing, and Women Engaged.
Jenny Jamison is currently the Salutatorian of her senior class and is a Top Ten Scholar at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory. She is president of Model United Nations, Red Cross Club, and English Honors Society, as well as captain of her varsity Swim team. She is a member of English, Spanish, Science, and Social Studies Honors Societies, among others. In her spare time, she surfs, dives, and enjoys nature. Her hobbies include reading novels, watching movies, and traveling. She hopes to attend the University of Florida, majoring in International Relations and Philosophy.
This is Alanna's second Pinnacle award, having previously won the Pinnacle award in 8th grade. She is an AP Scholar, is ranked 3rd in her class, and has received Principal's Honor Roll throughout her four years at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory. She is President of the Science National Honor Society and is a member of the English, Math, Spanish, Social Studies, and National Honor Societies. In addition to her academic achievements, Alanna is the President of Chaminade's Key Club, an officer of Model U.N., a LIFE leader, and a student ambassador. She is also co-captain of the swim team and a member of the tennis team, Best Buddies club, and choir at Chaminade-Madonna. In her free time Alanna enjoys volunteering at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, playing the piano, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. Next year, she plans to attend the University of Florida.
