It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Mike Tweddle (Class of ’77). Mike passed on Tuesday, Aug 13th after battling brain cancer over the last year and a half. He is survived by his daughter, Bettina Tweddle, Grandson, Zaunder Tweddle of Deerfield Beach, FL and his son, Michael Tweddle of Daytona Beach. There will be a ceremony held on Monday, Oct 7th at the South Florida National Cemetery; 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. This will be a brief military style ceremony, in honor of his 6 years of service in the Navy and is expected to last about 20 min. The Champions Camp, founded by Wayne Schuchts '79, is an overnight leadership retreat centered around faith development, goal setting, and life skills training. Our football team participated in fun activities like creating vision boards and received practical lessons like learning how to tie a tie!
