Director of Institutional Advancement
The role of the Director of Institutional Advancement is to advance the mission of Chaminade-Madonna by providing awareness, cultivating relationships and securing financial resources to support its students and programs. The director’s duties include supervision of alumni relations and program development to increase membership and donations. Other fundraising activities include prospect research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of constituents. Of primary importance is the building of the school’s endowment, annual fund and capital campaign. Knowledge of gift planning and/or grant writing is preferred. Applicant should demonstrate background and experience in the aforementioned areas, and possess a college/university degree in marketing, public relations, development, and/or communications. A working knowledge of Raiser’sEdge© is required, along with other basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.). An application letter, resume, 3 current letters of recommendation, and a one-page personal philosophy of development/advancement statement should be sent by July 25, 2010 to the Office of the President, Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory, 500 E.
